A beautiful tourist spot with a tunnel on a cliff, which can make sea water flow into the pond.

Leaving for Bali in 10 days. Will be staying the night here in Nusa. We are not making room reservations ahead of time. Once we arrive which area should we head to to find a good place to stay. We are there for general snorkeling and adventure. Thx

Hi. I can only speak of the areas I visited. I stayed in the Klungkung area. It is near the beach. It is also close to Atuh beach, probably the same distance with Crystal Bay. There are rooms close to the other beach areas but I preferred this area for it's not so crowded. It is around 30 minutes from the port area. If you don't have advanced bookings, agents will flock around you the moment you get off the boat. It should not be crowded around this time. Most of the the beaches are good for snorkeling. You can hop on a rented scooter and follow your adventure instincts or rent a car and the driver will be your guide. Hope this helps.

Uluwatu and Pasir Uuq is two places in the different island. Both of them is super beautiful, but if you only have one day I suggest you go to Uluwatu temple instead. Why? Because you have to get the boat to and from Nusa Penida, not to mention taking a motorbike to get to Pasir Uug beach that takes quite sometimes to reach there then back to Bali and taking a risk of missing your flight. Or you can extend at least 3 days in Bali, so you can visit those two places. But in the mainland you can find many interesting places too. Hope this info helps ! Enjoy your trip!

Hello, Yes it is most definitely possible. I didn't use one in 4 days on the island. Also from the people I met there and who were used to of the island, he never used one. I did all by myself and a scooter : Pusih Uwug (Angel billabong and the broken beach), Crystal bay (if you want to snork, just ask the people there and they will take you. Go early the morning), Pura Puncak Mundi (View points on the top of the island with a temple nearby), Bukit teletebies (landscape and view point), Atuh beach, Pura Goa Giri Putri (temple in the cave), and a complete turn and road trip around the island. For you way around, just ask the local, they will always help you.
