I am wondering the same as we are planning to go there tomorrow (Nov 1, 2020) with a 7 year old. Also, a bit worried that the gravel road from Grassi lake might be already closed for winter. Would love some feedback.
Is this trail open now? Is there a lot of snow on the ground? Planning to be in Canmore early Fri afternoon. Someone mentioned this hike would take approximately 2 hours if you're in shape. Aiming to do more of a mix of trail running and fast hiking; feasible?

it is open now but not all year. closes in november. open now, no snow, easy tracks and well marked and a lot of people climb this!!!
