Just weeks before hurricane season, the National Weather Service is short 155 forecasters, according to The Washington Post.

The NOAA and the NWS are urgently working to fill 155 positions nationwide ahead of the Atlantic hurricane season. According to CNN, the NWS is offering relocation assistance to qualified NOAA staff willing to transfer to high-priority locations.

With hurricane season just weeks away, the National Weather Service is working to fill over 150 critical positions to avoid gaps in storm forecasting.
