Several Northeast Ohio cities activate warming centers as temperatures set to plunge into single digits
AKRON, Ohio — Several Northeast Ohio cities, including Akron, Canton, Cleveland and Lorain, are making arrangements for those in need as temperatures are expected to plummet into the single digits next week.
The Summit Lake Community Center at 380 W. Crosier St. in Akron will be open as a warming center from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
