Having failed to secure a spot in the 12-team CFP on the field, Alabama's Kalen DeBoer has been relegated to talking his way into the national championship picture.

For Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer, who has had a wild first season in Tuscaloosa, that all makes some sense. But, appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Tuesday, DeBoer declined the opportunity to right back at Kiffin, instead saying that rather than a Kiffin-esque campaign, he is simply going to let the record speak for itself.
