Apple just showed how it plans to incorporate artificial intelligence across all its major products, from translating phone calls to giving the Mac a smarter search bar and more.

Apple announced several new features coming to WatchOS 26 at its annual software conference, WWDC, on Monday in Cupertino. The features touch everything from Fitness to Messages, and include a major design update across Apple's platforms for a more unified look and naming mechanisms that reflect the year software debuts.

OS 26 will launch with a redesigned interface based on Apple’s new Liquid Glass operating system, a wrist-flick gesture, a new Apple Intelligence-powered Workout Buddy fitness feature, and more. The wrist-flick gesture can be used to dismiss notifications you want to address later,

Apple packed a bunch of major updates into its annual Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. During the event, the company showed off the sleek design refresh coming to its operating systems, as well as a mix of new features for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, AirPods, and more bundled in upcoming software updates.

It's safe to say Apple Intelligence hasn't landed in the way Apple likely hoped it would. However, that's not stopping the company from continuing to iterate on its suite of AI features.
