After heavy snow from Winter Storm Fern, many central Ohio schools are closing for a third day in a row on Jan. 28.

Some central Ohio schools have closed Jan. 26 due to an avalanche of snow and bitter cold winds across the area.

After Winter Storm Fern dropped around a foot of snow throughout central Ohio, many schools in the region are announcing closures on Jan. 27.

In light of the severe weather conditions, numerous Central Ohio schools announced closures for January 28. The following is a list of districts that will not hold classes: Columbus City Schools: All classes and extracurricular activities are canceled. A winter graduation ceremony scheduled for January 29 has also been postponed.

More than 400 schools announced they will be closed on Tuesday amid dangerously cold temperatures.
