Costco Recalls Kirkland Signature Eggs for Potential Salmonella
Costco shoppers who recently bought Organic Pasture Raised 24-Count Eggs sold under the Kirkland Signature brand name should check their refrigerators. Handsome Brook Farms, which produces the eggs for Costco, is voluntarily recalling 10,800 retail units due to them having the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.
HEALTH RISK: Costco Recalls Organic Eggs Due to Salmonella Concerns
Consumers should check for cartons marked with Julian code 327 and a use-by date of January 5, 2025. Affected products should not be consumed and can be returned to Costco for a full refund. Salmonella can cause severe illness, especially in vulnerable populations.
