After 20 years, Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry is ready to return to the Wisteria Lane of another era.

Cherry, who later created Lifetime's series Devious Maids, said he has "a couple of ideas to do it," but if he recreates Wisteria Lane in the 1960s, the 20- and 30-something characters fans knew in the original wouldn't be born yet — or at least not old enough to make more trouble than needing a lot of diaper changes.
