Officials say a Ukrainian drone has struck an industrial plant deep inside Russia, injuring several people and causing a fire.

The Russian Kupol plant in Izhevsk, which produces Tor air defence systems, radar systems and Harpia drones, has been struck by modernised Ukrainian Liutyi kamikaze drones. Source: Oboronka, a defence industry project by Mezha.

The overnight attack was one of the largest on Ukraine and included strikes in the western part of the country, which is hit less often.
