North Air is the only fuel supply company for airlines flying out of Edinburgh Airport - which Unite union says could mean a number of key routes are "directly impacted".

Passengers travelling from Edinburgh Airport over the holiday period could face disruption after fuel tanker drivers backed strike action over a pay dispute.

Flights could be impacted across the Christmas and New Year period after 19 days of continuous strikes were announced

Unite said the strike had been called over the company's "refusal" to pay workers a monthly cold weather payment of £125 - payments that Swissport workers at other airports receive. The BBC has contacted Swissport for comment while Leeds-Bradford Airport said it would "work closely with partners" to minimise potential disruption.
