Hundreds of thousands of LG electric ranges that have been on the market since 2015 are being recalled after officials discovered they were tied to over a dozen fires.

Approximately 500,000 LG electric ranges sold over the last decade have been recalled because of an increased fire risk caused by front-mounted knobs. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the ranges are linked to at least 28 fires, and 86 complaints have been filed in connection to the problem.

The front-mounted knobs on the recalled electric ranges can be accidentally activated, according to the CPSC. The affected models were sold at Best Buy, Costco, and other appliance stores over the past 10 years,
