Evander Kane met with the media at Rogers Arena on Thursday morning, just over 24 hours after he was traded to his hometown team. The 33-year-old forward took questions on a variety of topics, and we will highlight the press conference in this article.

That latter aspect of Kane’s game is something Vancouver felt it sorely lacked last season. This was a roster that just wasn’t nearly big enough or heavy enough in the organization’s estimation, especially following the J.T. Miller trade.
