State of Emergency declared for Georgia in wake of this weekend's winter storm
Gov. Brian Kemp has issued a State of Emergency for all of Georgia over the incoming winter weather. Here's what it says and what the forecast is.
Georgia Gov. Kemp issues emergency order ahead of winter storm
A state of emergency is now in place across Georgia ahead of the approaching winter storm. Gov. Brian Kemp signed the order, in effect immediately through Tuesday, Jan. 14. This allows state agencies to activate the State Operations Center and direct resources to areas in need.
