County leaders unanimously approved a $4 million investment to expand resources for survivors of domestic violence, which Harris County has the highest rate of in the state.

Harris County Commissioners passed $1 million in federal funds for Harris County’s domestic violence response system. Commissioners Lesley Briones, Rodney Ellis and Adrian Garcia said American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding would be used to expand resources in the county.
