Republicans are working to push President Trump’s signature legislative package through a gauntlet of committee hearings.

House Republicans on Monday unveiled one of the most critical pieces of President Donald Trump’s domestic agenda: How it plans to spend trillions of dollars on tax breaks.

While he won some new tax breaks he called for, they were given an expiration date. And he failed to convince lawmakers to eliminate the so-called carried interest loophole for private equity managers and others.
