WWE icon Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71 after suffering from cardiac arrest inside his Clearwater, FL, home. The sports star, whose full name is Terry Gene Bollea, was found deceased inside his expansive dwelling Thursday morning.

Hulk Hogan, the wrestling icon who was arguably Tampa Bay’s biggest celebrity, died in Clearwater on Thursday morning after rescuers were summoned to his home for a reported cardiac arrest, according to city officials. Hogan was 71.

Hogan’s longtime friend and director of operations at Hogan’s Hangout shared some of his favorite memories with the WWE legend.

Nick Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s 35-year-old son, penned an emotional tribute to his late father over the weekend. Hulk Hogan, whose real name Terry Bollea, died Thursday in in Clearwater, Fla, at the age of 71. “My dad was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero,” Nick posted to Instagram.
