Police say a Hawaii woman who disappeared after landing in Los Angeles three weeks ago was seen crossing into Mexico alone with her luggage, but has not reached out to her family.

Police say a 30-year-old woman from Hawaii who was reported missing in Los Angeles three weeks ago voluntarily traveled to Mexico.

The LAPD reports that Hannah Kobayashi was seen crossing into Mexico, reclassifying her as a voluntary missing person.

Kobayashi, a 30-year-old Hawaii woman, appeared to vanish from Los Angeles in early November after failing to board a flight to New York, where she had traveled from Maui, her family has said.

Authorities made the discovery after reviewing surveillance video from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection late Sunday.
