Liverpool have reached an agreement over a five-year contract with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, Sky Sports Switzerland claims. A bid of £100 million ($134.4 million) will be submitted and the Reds hope to reach a deal at around £120 million ($161.3 million).

Arsenal and Liverpool may have been handed a massive boost in the race to sign Real Madrid forward Rodrygo. The Brazil international’s appears to be heading for the Santiago Bernabeu exit door this summer after being used sparingly at the Club World Cup.

According to Diario AS, Real Madrid are willing to lower their initial £80 million asking price for the 24-year-old to help facilitate a sale. With Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Tottenham all credited with interest, it remains to be seen whether the reduced fee will trigger formal offers.
