Missouri leading scorer Caleb Grill was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, according to a team spokesperson, after suffering an injury to his head and neck during Wednesday night's home game against Lindenwood.

The Missouri Tigers blew out Lindenwood thanks to a strong second-half performance, particularly from a bench unit that contributed 64 points on Wednesday night. A team spokesperson told the Tribune that Grill sustained an injury to his head/neck. The spokesperson said he has been taken to a local hospital out of caution but that he is responsive.

It was far from Mizzou men’s basketball’s prettiest outing of the season, but the Tigers did enough to pick up their sixth consecutive win of the season with a 81-61 defeat of Lindenwood. MU’s shining stars of the night were Marques Warrick and Tony Perkins.
