The U.S. has imposed sanctions on three nephews of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and half a dozen shipping vessels accused of transporting Venezuelan oil.
President Trump on Thursday announced new sanctions on the family members of Venezuelan strong-man Nicolas Maduro and Venezuelan businesses, a day after the U.S. seized a Venezuelan oil tanker in an escalation of the administration’s pressure campaign on the country.
