BOSTON — Walker Buehler pitched seven strong innings, Kristian Campbell’s base-loaded grounder rolled into right field for a two-run single and the Boston Red Sox beat the Chicago White Sox 4-2 in Boston’s annual Patriots’ Day game.

Instead of navigating road closures along the Boston Marathon route, Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler instead took his family to a hotel prior to his Monday morning start.
