Speaking on spin-off It Takes Two, he said it was the "biggest shock" he'd had so far in the competition and that he wondered whether there had been a mix-up. Wicks told host Fleur East that he always expects to be handed his marching orders on the show, so when it was announced that he was safe he was taken aback.
