In a surprise announcement, Sony has confirmed three games that will be joining the Premium tier of its PlayStation Plus subscription service in December 2024. Most of the time, Sony announces the PlayStation Plus Premium games in the middle of the month. However, it decided to shake things up a bit with the December 2024 free games.

In this part of the PS Blog post, Sony also tells fans to look out for more news in relation to PS Plus Extra and Premium. If Sony follows its usual pattern, we should learn the full lineup of new additions to the upper tiers on 11th December.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers get access to 17 new games to play as the November 2024 lineup for the monthly online service rolls out.

The free PS Plus monthly games include It Takes Two and Aliens: Dark Descent, while PS Plus Premium members can play the classic Sly Cooper trilogy.
