There is still a little more time to participate in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree, as the deadline to pick a child and return the gifts has been pushed back about a week.

The Salvation Army warehouse in Dallas is buzzing with workers and volunteers, sorting and organizing Salvation Army Angel Tree gifts that have been returned to get ready for distribution.

The last day to adopt and return an Angel is Saturday, December 7. Each Angel represents a child or senior from Smith County, as part of the Angel Tree program.
