An arrest has been made after a teen’s life was tragically taken this weekend in the Poconos. According to police, 25-year-old Andrew Quatt-Rochi is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide in the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy at the Wawa on West Main Street in Stroudsburg Saturday night.

Officers found 17-year-old Garrett Sorrenti with a gunshot wound to the neck and attempted lifesaving measures until EMS arrived and transported him to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office said in a news release that the man died from his injuries about 9 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono. An autopsy is scheduled for later in the week. The coroner’s office said the shooting was an isolated incident.
