Tennessee basketball is debuting dark mode uniforms when it hosts Syracuse in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Tuesday in Knoxville.

In a clash between two squads that normally wear orange, the No. 3 Volunteers will instead don black uniforms on Tuesday night.

Tennessee basketball will be wearing all-black uniforms for the first time in program history when they take on Syracuse on Tuesday night.

Tennessee basketball is getting in on the dark mode fun. Joining other Volunteer squads, Rick Barnes’s team is set to wear black jerseys and shorts for Tuesday’s game against Syracuse. The team’s social media account offered a Monday preview of the “dark mode” look.

The Vols debuted its uniform on social media with the caption, "The nightmare before Christmas." Tennessee will take on Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. at Food City Center.
