The Kremlin rejected allegations from a US envoy that it is delaying attempts to end its war on Ukraine, amid claims that Russia’s invasion force now controls the whole of its neighbour’s Luhansk region and has seized territory in Dnipropetrovsk region for the first time.

The US envoy to the Ukraine War, Keith Kellogg, has accused Russia of trying to "stall" peace negotiations and called for an immediate ceasefire. The Kremlin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov rebuked those comments, saying it was in favour of diplomatic ways of achieving the goals of Russia's "special military operation".
