A vacant building that once housed the Volunteers of America organization in Sacramento went up in flames twice in one night, authorities say.

A vacant building caught fire early Tuesday morning in Sacramento's Southern Pacific / Richards neighborhood, officials said.

The cause of the fires are under investigation.
