In Act Two of Wicked, Nessarose becomes the Governor of Munchkinland following the death of her father. Boq effectively becomes her love slave, but announcing he has feelings for Glinda, an enraged Nessarose casts a love spell on him from Elphaba's Grimmerie.

Part One, Glinda and Elphaba separate after the latter decides to head west and devote herself to one day stopping The Wizard of Oz’s cruelty. Fans are thus surprised. Many have grown curious as to why Glinda does not follow Elphaba,

"Loathing, unadulterated loathing..." Something about these two Labradors are really giving us Elphaba and Glinda vibes and people online agree. The two Labs really could be the stars of the new movie Wicked — if they can stop fighting on the couch that is.

For the most part, Wicked: Part 1 is similar to the first act of the Wicked musical. Granted, it's been some time since I've seen it, but there were plenty of moments that I was expecting to happen, and they did. One of those happened to be the Ozdust Ballroom scene, where there's a shift in the friendship between Elphaba and Glinda.

Starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, the movie adaptation has been in the works for years, and now it's finally a reality. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film adaptation has received critical acclaim as he and the team have captured the magic of the stage production on screen.
