Timberwolves fans are excited for a new era in Minnesota, as an arbitrator has ruled in favor of Rodriguez and Lore over current owner Glen Taylor. The dispute began in 2021 after Rodriguez and Lore agreed to purchase the Timberwolves and Lynx for $1.
Fans have long called for Garnett's No. 21 jersey to be retired to the rafters of Target Center. But Garnett told The Athletic in 2020 that it wouldn't happen as long as Glen Taylor owned the Wolves.
