Bryant University has quietly made waves in the world of college basketball in recent years, morphing from Division II minnows to America East Conference elites over the course of 20 years or so.

Christian will succeed Phil Martelli Jr.,who left Smithfield to take over the head coaching duties at Virginia Commonwealth University.
