Pep Guardiola expects Erling Haaland to return for Manchester City in the “next games”. The City boss has played down the prospects of the striker, who is now back in full training, featuring in Friday’s Premier League clash with Wolves but he appears to be making good progress.

City said in a statement on Monday Haaland would see a specialist over the ankle injury he suffered at Bournemouth.

Erling Haaland has missed a month of action for Manchester City and is inching closer to a return to action with Wolves visiting the Etihad on Friday night.
