Japan issued a megaquake advisory Tuesday after a magnitude 7.5 earthquake struck the northern part of the country, causing 34 mostly mild injuries and some damage to roads and buildings.

Japan has been rocked by yet another major earthquake as a 6.5-magnitude tremor struck Aomori and Hokkaido on Wednesday, marking the nation’s third strong quake in just three days.
