Lincoln Land Community College is hosting several events to honor Abraham Lincoln's birthday in February.

LINCOLN — An appeals court has ruled that the former Lincoln College — the only school established in Abraham Lincoln’s honor in his lifetime — doesn't owe a penny in Logan County property taxes.

Lincoln Land Community College is offering new classes intended to hone workplace skills, from forklift certification to operating a small business.

Lincoln Land Community College has been selected as one of 200 institutions eligible to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, according to a community announcement.
