Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles on Ukraine on Saturday, killing eight people and damaging dozens of residential buildings as well as energy infrastructure across the country, Ukrainian officials said.

In Poltava, Russian forces hit a residential building, completely destroying an entrance section. Ten people were injured, and three were killed. Emergency services are working at the scene. One person was killed in Kharkiv as a result of the attack,
