(WJW) – An iconic candy brand says it has a new name. They’re no longer Sour Patch Kids, the company announced on social media. “JUST Patch Kids” now, according to the company.

Then along came Sour Patch Kids, which took the simultaneously ... The candies are studded with little blood-red grains amidst a sea of pink candy lightly dusted in white, sourish sugar.

Sour Patch Kids are no more. At least in name. The candy brand announced on social media platform X that it will now be known as "Just Patch Kids," dropping sour from its identity. And furthermore ...

The candy has previously undergone a name change, however. When first rolled out in the 1970s, they were called “Mars Men.” They were rebranded as “Sour Patch Kids” in the 1980s.
