This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, and now adding to the list of things to celebrate this Pride Month: Six historic LGBTQ sites have now been designated as NYC landmarks.

It was the home of African American attorney Eugene Diggs, who fought for civil rights and social justice in Hampton Roads during the Jim Crow era.

The Landmarks Association of St. Louis named the Salvation Army's Railton Residence, at 18th and Pine streets, as one of the area's Most Enhanced Places for 2010.

The US pop singer baffled fans as she posted a sketch of what appears to be St Martin's church in Birmingham and the Bullring shopping centre. One fan said the drawing had "sent me to the moon".
