Bryn Mawr Hospital announced this week that it has received $1 million from an anonymous donor to help its nurses pay off student loans — the fourth hospital in the nonprofit Main Line Health system to receive such a donation in the last year.
The Education Department cleared more applications than it received in February.
Many borrowers have already met the requirements for loan forgiveness under income‑driven repayment (IDR) plans.
The good news is that some states will still pay off student loans if you decide to move there. However, most states and the District of Columbia only offer forgiveness programs to existing residents. Still, some borrowers may be eligible for these plans without having to move.
