Opponents of Oak Run Solar in Madison County argued in front of the Ohio Supreme Court that the Ohio Power Siting Board accepted an incomplete application.
The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Monday to allow him to fire a top official at the Library of Congress, despite a lower court ruling that found the official is part the legislative branch and doesn’t report to the White House.
At issue is whether the state’s regulator, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, acted legally in 2023 when it allowed Columbia Gas of Ohio to increase total fixed monthly charges from $36 a month to $58 a month by 2027 — a 50%-percent increase.
