Hold off on cracking open that can of tuna! Multiple products under the Genova brand have been recalled from Georgia due to potential food poisoning.

Several brands of canned tuna, including Trader Joe's, Costco and Genova, were recalled due to a risk of botulism after the manufacturer said they had defective pull tabs that may cause leaks.

The recall was triggered by "a manufacturing defect that may compromise the integrity of the product seal (especially over time), causing it to leak, or worse, be contaminated with clostridium botulinum," the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA) said.
