Installing multiple Linux distributions on a UEFI boot system - here are my experiences with Korora/Fedora and Mint/Ubuntu.
If you want to always boot from a USB drive, you can do that too. Go into the BIOS and configure the UEFI boot option menu to list the USB drive with the boot install as the first option.
out of the box, change BIOS order to Network/SSD (leaving UEFI unchanged), then build the machine, afterwards the 'Windows Boot Manger' gets put 1st.
