The first computer mouse was invented in the early 1960s by Douglas ... inside – one for the X axis and one for the Y axis. The device had just one button, located in the top corner.

In fact, the design for the first tablet PC was set out in 1968, long before most of the technologies necessary to build it were even invented ... devices and came up with the mouse.
