Dress codes on luxury cruise lines are reaching a new level of casual, and Regent's change is a prime example of where they are likely headed.

President Nayib Bukele has expanded his efforts to remake his country to students’ appearance as part of bringing discipline back to schools, once a recruiting ground for the country’s powerful gangs. His newly appointed education minister, Karla Trigueros, is an Army captain and physician who visits the country’s schools wearing fatigues.

Bombatch said some employees are feeling betrayed because they were hired to work casually and remotely, but now are being pulled into the office and having to dress better. That can be a breaking point.
