Orchestrating a protest or demonstration involves a lot of time, energy, and people. Making sure you have the right items, are dressed comfortably, and know what to do in an emergency can ensure your safety and that of those around you.

Demonstrations in McAllen, Midland, Odessa, Austin and elsewhere in Texas were largely peaceful, as some protests went well into the night.
