The latest College Football Playoff rankings come out Tuesday. Here are predictions of where Indiana football will fall in the CFP bracket.

The ACC has put themselves in position to potentially spoil IU’s playoff bid with SMU (9-1; 7-1 ACC) ranked at No. 9 — the Mustangs have already clinched a spot in the ACC title game — and Clemson (9-2; 7-1 ACC) ranked at No. 12 and the first team left out of the field.

Indiana held on to its No. 5 position in the College Football Playoff and would currently host a playoff game, but skeptics of the Hoosiers are out there.

Indiana slid to 10th in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings. The Hoosiers’ tumble down the top 25 comes on the heels of the 38-15 loss they suffered to No. 2 Ohio State in Columbus last week.
