One person and several pets have died in a south Midland fire. At about 3:50 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, Midland Fire Department personnel responded to a structure fire in the 1200 block of South Colorado Street, according to a press release from the city of Midland.

A woman has died after a house fire in Coventry. West Midlands Police were called to Sandy Lane at about 14:25 GMT on Saturday, where they found the body of a woman in her 30s inside a property. The force said officers remained at the scene and it was working with West Midlands Fire Service to establish the cause of the fire,

One person is dead after a fire engulfed a Coronado home Friday afternoon, according to city officials. Jayson Summers, fire chief with the city of Coronado, said first-responders from the Coronado, National City and San Diego fire departments were called to a house on the corner of 6th Street and Adella Lane just after 1 p.
