Patrik Laine set to make Canadiens debut Tuesday vs. Islanders
MONTREAL — Patrik Laine will debut in a Montreal Canadiens uniform Tuesday night when they take on the New York Islanders at the Bell Centre. Laine suffered a severe left knee sprain in a preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after being acquired by the Canadiens from the Columbus Blue Jackets in an offseason trade.

Patrik Laine will make his debut for the Montreal Canadiens against the New York Islanders on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; RDS, TSN2, MSGSN). The forward, who resumed skating Nov. 20, took part in the morning skate Tuesday on a line with Kirby Dach and Juraj Slafkovsky.
