Jamir Watkins, the former Trenton Catholic Academy standout and Trentonian Area Player of the Year, was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 43rd overall pick and then traded to the Washington Wizards on Thursday night. His selection came one day after the champion Oklahoma City Thunder took Thomas Sorber with the 15th pick.

But for the purpose of this story, we are more interested in the 21st selection of Wednesday night's first round. Out of the University of Illinois, the Wizards selected Will Riley. Known for his shooting as well, Riley was the Sixth Man of the Year in the Big Ten.
