A 13-year-old boy was arrested this week for allegedly robbing multiple people at gunpoint on Chicago's South Side last summer.

Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in the city’s Avalon Park neighborhood.

Chicago police said the victim was inside a vehicle when an unknown vehicle approached. That's when an unknown male exited the vehicle, pulled out a firearm, and shot at the victim. The gunman left the scene in an unknown direction.

The boy is accused of robbing five people at gunpoint at different times June 4 in the South Chicago and Chatham neighborhoods. He was arrested Wednesday.
